Name of the hotel was different to the name on booking.com so it was difficult to find. Bath was a little small and room was very dark.

I got a window view of Taipei 101. Quaint and pleasant room.

Very convenient to walk to Taipei 101, Tonghua night market, immediate bakery at the corner, Thai restaurant infront of the hotel. I ate the street food from the night market and bought my breakfast pastry the night before my check-out. The staff were very polite even if the only spoke little English.

The location was very close to the venue where my event was to be held. The staff was quite helpful too.

The hotel looks nothing like the photos they have posted here. So don't expect anything to look or feel that new, or clean. The room was clean (I assume).but basic. It wasn't very clean or well maintained, and the elevator smelt musty. I stayed only for 3 nights, so I decided to stay on since I had already made the payment. Also note that the maps will direct you to a back alley way which leads to the hotel..it happened to me and my friend who arrived after me. I was quite worried when the cab driver parked by the road and pointed into an alley... I made him find another road to the front end of the hotel. Since the same thing happened to my friend, I think it's because the hotel isn't correctly marked on these maps

1. On the evening 22Nov, I found there was no toilet tissue, So I said to the staff (women) on the next morning . She said to me "OK" But she did nothing. Therefore I had to visit the front again when returning from sightseeing. 2. I requested to clean my room on 23 Nov and 24 Nov. The male staff showed me his phone that he translated into English " I want my room cleaned" However they didn't clean my room, nor changed towels. I had to use dirty rowels for two nights. On ehe evening of 24 Nov, I complained to the male staff (looks like manager) he told me they had cleaned my room. So I protested him to see and check the room. 3. They didn't know the word of service, ignoring customer's request. I have used many hotels throughout the world through Booking.com And I have been satisfied with Booking.com. But this was the first time I am very disappointed. Very disappointed!!! I was very upset and angry. How could you imagine you find there was no toilet tissue after getting crap.

Location and facilities

The property blocked my credit card before I went to travel. When I arrived, they charged me again. They said they didn’t blocked , my credit card company blocked automatically. When I came back to my country, I called the bank company. The bank said “it was the onwer of hotel blocking”. I need to use money in credit card while traveling. They made me in trouble. I wanna know if they blocked , why do we have to pay for the hotel again? if we didn’t have to pay, we could spend much money during traveling.

Slow to provide room cleaning, bad reception service, little English, good location

I liked that the hotel was located near a bus stop. (relatively close like a 10 minute walk). you can take the bus from the airport to the grand hyatt and from there you can walk the rest of the way to the hotel.

Service was terrible. I stayed with my partner and she absolutely hated the hotel. If you have a partner who needs a fancier hotel for the money do not choose this place. It was also a real pain to get the hotel to provide room cleaning services.
